A few steps from the springs of the Livenza river, in a small village reflected in the water, Trota Blu is a trattoria-brasserie nestled in lush greenery, with a terrace overlooking the lake.
The kitchen celebrates fresh fish from lake and sea, trout prepared every which way — fried, grilled, tasting plate, inside a gourmet sandwich — alongside a curated selection of Belgian craft beers on tap: Delirium, St. Idesbald, Trappist ales, Castello Bonomi.

We're in Sarone, a small village near Caneva (PN) — about 15 minutes from Aviano Air Base and 90 minutes from Venice or Treviso. To secure the best table — especially on the lakeside terrace in the warmer months — we recommend booking ahead.
On weekdays the dining room is more relaxed, the kitchen has time for seasonal dishes, and it's easier to get the best terrace table. Hours may vary on public holidays — a quick call to confirm is always a good idea.
